The History of Felicity’s Nursery School

Felicity’s nursery school was started nearly 60 years ago by Felicity Gladstone (pictured left) and she still joins us on a Friday to keep her hand in! The nursery has been held in Crockham Hill Village Hall for the last 15 years which has proved to be a fantastic venue for an independent village nursery school. Where we are situated, we are lucky to have access to countryside, the school playing field and our own enclosed garden. Weather permitting, we are outside every day and use the surroundings as an extension of the children’s learning.

Geraldine Ormonde (pictured right) took over the school in September 2006 having joined the school the previous September.
